Those of us who make the commute to Jacksonville via I-295 and 9A/9B have long been mystified by the previously undeveloped “E-Town Parkway” exit. Now that the development has commenced, the buzz has started about this new master-planned community.

Once complete, the gated eTown community will have about 1,400 homes
spread through its five neighborhoods.

The PARC Group, eTown’s developer, designed the community to center on energy-efficiency and sustainability. Its forward-thinking approach is reflected in both the home designs and neighborhood names, four of which are named after technology pioneers in history.

Here are the details about each neighborhood and eTown’s nearly endless
amenities:

Del Webb at eTown – Del Webb is eTown’s signature active adult 55+ community with an on-site lifestyle director. Pulte Homes, the neighborhood’s builder, will offer contemporary home designs from two to five bedrooms and 1,400 to 3,400 square feet.

Kettering at eTown – Kettering will feature Zero Energy Ready Homes™ (certified by the U.S. Department of Energy) constructed by community builder Providence Homes. Floor plans range from 1,500 to 2,750 square feet and feature leading edge technologies like solar panels and other energy-efficient elements.

Marconi at eTown – Marconi will offer homes built by both David Weekley Homes and ICI Homes. Floorplans vary from 1,800 to 3,200 square feet and three or four bedrooms. Architecture will range between modern coastal, craftsman and farmhouse.

Edison at eTown – The grand Edison community will reflect 14 modern home designs by Toll Brothers.  Spacious homes will vary from three up to seven bedrooms and be spread between 2,600 and more than 4,400 square feet. Edison will be notable for its natural wooded surroundings.

Nobel at eTown – Nobel will be the final community to be developed in eTown with homes designed and built by David Weekley Homes and ICI Homes. Like Edison, homes in Nobel will boast plenty of views over natural wooded preserves.

Amenities – The sprawling five acres of eTown amenities are planned to appeal to each and every resident! Slated to open early next year, the amenities will include a huge resort-style clubhouse spanning 8,000 square feet with a high tech fitness facility, event rooms, rooftop bar and lounge.

Step outside and the luxury amenities continue with a zero-entry pool with lap lanes and spa, pickleball and tennis courts, large yoga lawn, fire pits, kids’ playground, event lawn, waterfront dog park and peaceful nature trails.

Stroll the nearby Village Center comprised of retail shops, luxury apartments, restaurants and neighborhood businesses, as well as The Hub, eTown’s Welcome Center. Want to learn more about eTown’s progress? Call me at (904) 501-1830 or [email protected].
